Yann Kuhlmann is a musical artist, composer, lyricist, producer, manager, author and coach

He was the founder and owner of the musicproduction companies OrangeMusic since 1992 and since 2010 TransistorMusic, focusing on producing original compositions for tv, cinema, radio, corporate or product branding. In 2017 he started the visionary and unparalleled Yoga style called DJAYA Yoga & Soundhealing with famous Yogamaster Tanja Seehofer.

Yann already started writing music at the age of 11 besides learning the electric bass, the guitar, drums, the piano, synthesizers, and anything making noise coming his way. At the age of 16 he started playing the orchestral contrabass.

As he began finding more fulfillment and pleasure in exploring his talents, Yann introduced himself in the late 80’s to the philosophies and practice of yoga, zen, and meditation. Simultaneously he began scrutinizing the art of sampling, investigating the uniqueness of analogue synthesis and combining acoustic and electronic elements
For over 30 years he wrote and produced over 1500 musical pieces for TV-ads, corporate presentations, movies and events.
Exceptional in his music, most of his songs are tales of emotional stories and philosophies of everyday life which sets his listeners on a journey of exploration, excitement and pleasure on different levels.

As one of his visions, Yann is passionately committed to producing and developing songs and sounds for the benefit of body, mind and soul. He also inspires young upcoming artist to find their unique sound and voice for their time. He manages DJs, interconnects artists and coaches people in pursuit of their destiny

He played his instruments and sang in bands, with Djs or alone on festivals, underground parties, clubs, receptions and many more since 1982

He wrote articles for music & yoga magazines and recently published a book about yoga & meditation in cooperation with Doris Iding & Tanja Seehofer for their „advanced teacher training“ coaching series
